Yin and Harp - Journey to Winter
Join us for one-of-a-kind workshop this July. Rumour will guide you on a deeply meditative journey through our inner seasons using the yin philosophy of TCM. Inspired by our greatest teacher, nature, we will come together to honour the winter’s invitation to retreat and restore.
Begin with a gentle warm up to awaken the body and pranayama to nourish the nervous system, breathing life into the elemental poses for Spring.
From there we transition through asana suited to Summer, with heart-opening postures and cultivating the qi to pursue our heart’s desires.
Autumn naturally flows after, where the leaves remind us how beautiful it is to let things go.
And finally, we arrive where we are. Lulled into the comforting embrace of Winter with the soothing melodies of the harp, played live by professional harpist Katie Adams, and drift into an extra-long savasana.
This event will be something truly unique and special!
Bring a friend or a loved one to experience the magic together...and maybe a hot tea & cheeky choc brownie after too. After this extended Yin experience, you will leave with a cosy glow and recharged batteries, whether you are fresh off the mountain or simply after some much-needed zen.
Date: Saturday, 19th July
Location: Yama Yoga, Country Lane, Frankton, 9300
Investment: $65

Honouring Our Cycles -
Craft and Wisdom
Friday May 2nd, 6pm-8pm $44pp
Craft your period necklace while exploring the wisdom of the cycles
Honouring our menstrual cycle is a powerful act of self-love and a first step toward co-creating a positive menstrual culture.
For too long, women’s cycles have been ignored, denied, or hidden in shame. Yet our cyclical nature is a source of deep wisdom and power, and this workshop invites you to reconnect with it.
Together, we’ll explore the phases of the menstrual cycle and their connection to the cycles of the Earth and the moon. You’ll learn how each phase mirrors the seasons, and how aligning with this rhythm can support your wellbeing, intuition, and inner power.
Our bleeding time holds a potent invitation: when we honour its needs, it gives back in clarity, insight, and renewal. As part of this gathering, we’ll create a necklace to wear during our period, a quiet way to honour where we are in our cycle, and to gently let others know we might need a little more rest or space. It’s a creative ritual and a meaningful act of self-awareness.
The workshop will take place near Samhain, an ancient festival marking the final harvest and the descent into winter, which I thought aligns perfectly with the theme!
No prior knowledge or experience is needed. All materials are provided, but please bring any special beads that you might want to include in your necklace
Please also bring pen and paper, and a bit of curiosity
We’re keeping it small, just 12 spaces. Tickets below!
I’d love to share this experience with you
